The COVID-19 pandemic has rocked our world, and accounts of suffering and hardship fill the headlines. We’ve all been affected, whether or not we’ve been infected.
But despite all the bad news, there are stories of kindness, empathy, and sacrifice. First responders and frontline healthcare heroes and equally heroic grocery store employees. Delivery people who get us the things we need and neighbors, family, and friends who fill our need for human connection. What they say is true – we are all in this together.
When we launched Show Cause last year, we could not have imagined a global pandemic. And though there are worthy organizations and efforts worldwide, we’re staying true to our mission of supporting local causes in the communities where our Rain BDM colleagues live and work.
Each person on our team selected a nonprofit or social service agency doing good work and offering assistance to those who need it. Rain BDM has donated to these charities and nonprofits, which include food banks, programs for families and children, and economic relief initiatives. In the coming weeks, we’ll spotlight these organizations, what they do, and the impact they make.
