Besides the effort we put in, we also try to give back by supporting charities, volunteering with nonprofits, and participating in social outreach. That’s why we’ve launched “Show Cause.”
Show Cause is our initiative to support the causes that are important to our team, spotlight their involvement, and make a collective difference in our communities. Maybe they have a favorite charity or community organization they support in their own way. Perhaps they run in a 5K race or a marathon to raise funds for a health initiative. Maybe they give your time to a food bank or spend Saturdays as a tutor to people who are learning to read.
Whatever it is, we want to help them support that cause. So, throughout the year, Rain BDM will donate money, materials, or time to an organization each team member selects.
What does Show Cause have to do with legal marketing, business development, and other things we do. The answer is – absolutely nothing.
Consistent with Rain BDM’s “What We Believe” values, Show Cause is, quite simply, the right thing to do. What’s important to each of our people is important to our entire team, and what’s good for the soul is good for our people and our business. And if we can demonstrate the importance of corporate social responsibility for our law firm clients, it’s a win-win-win-win proposition.
